Catherwood, Paul Douglas, 66, of Riverview, Florida passed away on December 22, 2013 . Paul was born on September 1, 1947 in New York, New York to Jesse Catherwood (deceased) and Janet (Schrift) Catherwood. Paul was a police officer with Montgomery County, Maryland and retired as a Sargent in 1993 after 23 years of service. Paul received his Bachelor's degree from Plattsburg State University, Plattsburg, New York and received his Master's degree in Criminal Justice from George Washington University, Washington, DC. Paul is survived by his wife of 13 years Stacey Catherwood; step daughter Brittany Myers; sons Matthew and Adam Catherwood; 2 grandchildren, and a sister Judy Patrello. Memorial donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300 West Temple Terrace, FL 33637. Private services will be held at a later date.
