Obituary

Paul Berg-Drenth, 55 of Brandon Florida, passed away on March 8 th , 2023 in his home under the care of Life Path Hospice due to vascular disease. His sister Cheryl and brother Bryon were also present with him when he passed.

Paul was born on February 26, 1968 to Denis Wordes and Charlene (Drenth) Whiteside. Paul started his life in Clarksville Iowa, as a grown man moved to Minneapolis Minnesota, where he met James Jensen and they were united as one on August 24 th , 2013. Tired of the cold Minnesota weather they decided in the Summer, of 2014 to move Sunny Florida. Paul and James loved to go to the beach to watch the sun rises and sun sets off the water, camping, trips to the Keys and just enjoying each other's company. On December 30, 2019, James passed away, and Paul was heartbroken!

Paul was employed at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital. There he found comfort with his many co-workers, that turned into dear friends. Paul loved taking care of his patients, he loved his co-workers and his job.

Paul would often have Out-of-State family come to visit. Paul and James named their home, P and J Inn. They loved everyone coming to their home, enjoyed their company and just being with family.

Paul is proceeded in death by his loving husband, James and his father.

Paul will forever be loved and missed by his fur babies Harby, Oscar and Felix, his mother; Charlene Whiteside, his brothers; Dwayne (Cindy) Wordes and Bryon Wordes, all from Clarksville Iowa, Mark Wordes of Menomonie Wisconsin, his sister Cheryl Wordes of Shell Rock Iowa, along with many nieces and nephews.
