Patricia O'Connell, 63, of Lithia (formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Mays Landing, NJ), passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. She was the beloved wife of James O'Connell, the devoted mother of Colleen Muller (Robert), Shannon Ewell (William) and Megan Boughton (Stephen), and the beloved grandmother of James, Joanna and Jacob Muller, Caitlin, Eric, and Isabel Ewell, and Grace and Hannah Boughton. She is also survived by three brothers, Donald Shannon (Betty), David Shannon (Kathleen) and Timothy Shannon (Patricia), and one sister, Maureen Dougherty (Michael), nine nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. A mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2009 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, FL. Patricia will be laid to rest in Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to LifePath Hospice, 12973 Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33637.
