LaFlamme, Patricia, 81, of Lithia, FL, formerly of Lakewood, OH, passed away on November 10, 2009. Patricia obtained her bachelors degree in history from Ursaline College and her masters degree in history from John Carroll University. She was a doctoral candidate at Case Western Reserve University, attended Oxford University in England and also the University of Munich in Germany. Patricia taught at the Ursaline College in Cleveland for many years. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Morrison. Patricia is survived by her loving family, husband of 42 years, LTCOL USA (Ret) Norman A. LaFlamme; daughter, Mary (Shawn) Sarkisian; sisters, Loretta Cleary, Helen McConville and Alice Sammon; and grandchildren, Grace and John Sarkisian. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 9:30 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, followed by an interment at Sarasota National Cemetery.
