Patricia Jane Kaman (Teegardin) was born Christmas Day 1925 to John and Pearl (Thompson) Teegardin in Fairfield County, Ohio. She was the eldest and last surviving member of five siblings: Jacquelyn, James, Robert, and Larry.

Her teen years were spent in Millersport, Ohio where she graduated from the Millersport High School Class of 1943. Upon graduation she moved to Toledo, Ohio where she remained until retirement in Riverview, Florida. It was in Toledo where she met and married her husband John J. Kaman until widowed in 2005.

Throughout her life she held many varied occupations…cosmetologist, factory worker, automotive assembly worker, and food processing plant packer to name a few. She loved to work and make money and often commented she regretted retiring too soon.

Although never blessed with children of her own she enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews over the years. She is survived by Robbin Romay Overton, Janice Teegardin Ward, James Teegardin Jr., Randy Romay, Lucinda Teegardin Ladge, Wendy Romay Wells, Kandi Teegardin Kelley (deceased), Paulette Szudlarek, and Pamela Holewinski. Additionally she has many great and great-great nieces and nephews that mourn her passing. Trips and fun activities spent in her company can be recalled fondly by all.

Pat remained feisty until the very end of her life even though the onset of dementia dimmed some of her memories the last ten years of her life's journey. Our matriarch will be missed dearly by her surviving family but we are comforted to know we'll see her on the other side.
