On Monday evening, November 14, 2022, a lovely lady completed her journey through this life and passed from the loving embrace of her family. Patricia (Plechey) Blake, 76, formerly of Claridge, Pennsylvania, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at Hospice House in Sun City Center Florida after a short battle with cancer. She was born October 17, 1946, in Greensburg, PA, a daughter of the late Theodore Frank and Mary Hylva Plechey.

Patricia graduated from Penn Joint High School, McCullough, PA in the class of 1964. She attended Clarion College in Clarion Pa. majoring in Library Science.  Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Katherine Bias. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Edward Blake, and two children; James E Blake and wife Catherine of Albuquerque, NM and Helene Nicole Sanford and husband Wayne and four grandchildren; Mathew Victor, Sarah Rose, Joshua Edward, and Isabella Nicole. In addition, Patricia is survived by a brother, Michael Plechey and wife, Nancy of Penn, PA, two sisters, Margaret Taylor and husband, James, of Sun City Center, FL, and Nancy DeLozier and husband, Robert, of Jeannette, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
