Patria "Patty" Griffin, 74, passed away peacefully July 11, 2024. Patty is survived by her husband Sidney; brothers Joe and Mike Ryan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Patria Ryan; sister, Sherry Ryan.

Patria was born March 22, 1950 in Louisville, KY.  She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in business.  Patty and Sidney married in 1972 after retiring to Valrico, FL after 21 years in the Air Force.

Patria was an accomplished tennis player, she was witty, and loved dogs.  For many years she was a volunteer on the Buckhorn Estates Special Independent District.

A gathering of friends and family is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31st from 1pm to 2pm at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview FL 33578.  A memorial service will begin at 2pm.
