Norris E. Thomas aka Panama, beloved brother to Gwendolyn Styles, (Eloise Briggs-Deceased), (Walter Jr-Deceased), Shirley Finch, Charles Thomas, Rodney Thomas, Brenda Day; Nieces - Gia, Amanda, Isis; Nephews - Hollis, Morty III, Cory, Siris; Grandnieces - Jerilyn, Khala and Grandnephew-CJ and host of great-grandnieces and grandnephews; passed away on March 22, 2024 after a long battle with kidney cancer. His final moments were spent peacefully at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida surrounded by family and close friends.

Known for his infectious laugh and passion for watching his favorite sport teams - Atlanta Braves, NY Giants, and Chicago Bulls, he especially loved watching March Madness with his nephew, Cory. Norris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family asks that he be remembered for the joy he brought to others in life not the sadness of his passing. He is survived by his surviving sibling: Gwendolyn, Shirley, Charles, Rodney, Brenda, and a large extended family to include cousins, nieces and nephews.
A ceremony will be held at Serenity Meadows April 1st, 2024, at 2 PM and the family will receive friends there at 1PM. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the America Cancer Society in memory of our beloved brother Norris.
