Norris Murley Cogle went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2019. Born January 24, 1942 in Waterbury CT to Norris Delmar  and Amelia Augusta Cogle, Norris is survived by his stepmother Lorraine Cogle and stepsister Susan Walsh, his adoptive family Michael and Margaret Barrett and their children Michael J. (Cassidy), David J. (Ashley) and their children and Kaitlyn M. Barrett (his chick-a-dee).

Rev. Cogle a native of Cheshire CT attended Central Connecticut State College, he was a graduate of Zion Bible Institute located in Providence R.I. Rev. Cogle taught at Zion Institute for seven years, he then moved to Warwick R.I. where he served as assistant pastor at Apponaug Pentecostal Church. In 1974 Rev. Cogle became one of the associate pastors at the Grant Park New Testament Church in Tampa FL where he resided and worked at Quest Diagnostics for 25 years. In his later years he served as an adult Bible study teacher at Riverhills Church of God. Rev. Cogle was called home at seventy seven and eight months old.

Visitation will be at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park on Thursday , September 26, 2019 at 5 pm with Celebration of Life Service at 5 :45 pm with Rev. Michael Barrett officiating.
