Obituary

Norman "Mike" Rusch, 76, of Valrico, FL., passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his residence.  Born on November 11, 1942 in Hammond, IN to the proud parents of Norman J. & Annabel (Wells) Rusch, Mike was a former petroleum salesman for Shell Oil.  He was a Master Mason and a member of the Egypt Temple Shrine.  He was a lover of Ham Radios, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Boston Celtics, the LA Dodgers and NASCAR.  Mike enjoyed woodworking and cooking his famous "Cheese and Macaroni".  He served in the Army for two years and worked with Shell Oil Company for many more.  He was a member at Grace Community UMC in Lithia, FL and he always took the time to cut out an article from the paper and mail it to you, if he thought it was useful.  Survivors include his loving mother, Annabel; his beloved daughter, Laura and son, Greg; his sister, Kris and his three grandchildren.  An Inurnment Ceremony will take place on Sat, May 4, 2019 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis, IN.  Please contact the family for details.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mikes' honor to either the Shriner Organization @ www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org ; the Ministry of Hope @ 19144 Dorman Rd., Lithia, FL 33547 or call 813-685-5047 for specific needs before donating; or Feeding Tampa Bay @ www.feedingtampabay.org/donate.
