Nora Ollie Cornelius, 97, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Cincinnati (Blue Ash) Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

She was an inspiration for how to age gracefully and the definition of a life well lived. A very sweet soul who was amazingly kind and generous. She had a cute sense of humor with a twinkle in her eye. She stayed smart and sharp, reading the paper everyday as well as books and emails on her iPad and discussing current events. She loved having fun with her family and many friends and was always game for something new -- for her 90th birthday party, she celebrated by riding on a wave-runner!

She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Cornelius, Sr., son, James H. Cornelius, Jr., parents and four siblings. She leaves family and many friends who dearly loved her - daughter Beverly Eha and son-in-law Roger; daughter Mary Blume and son-in-law Richard; sister Martha Hornbecker; grandsons James A. Cornelius, Jeff Eha (Paula) and Rich Blume (Shannon); granddaughter Avery Plonski (Brian); nieces and nephews who were constantly in touch and supportive; her BFF Cathy Williams; her little four-legged pal, Blossom, and 11 great-grandchildren. She became an "adopted" mom by many as she was so well loved.

Celebrations of her life are scheduled on Sunday, June 5 from 1-4pm at Cooper Creek Event Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, and on Sunday, June 12 from 1-4pm at Bev and Roger Eha's home in Brandon, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hyde Park UMC Sparrow Fund, 500 W. Platt Street., Tampa, FL 33606 (please note it's in memory of Nora Cornelius), a charity of your choice or commit a random act of kindness in memory of Mom.
