Noel Arthur Blanchet, 89, of Riverview, Florida entered eternal rest on July 27th, 2024.

Noel was born in Arthabaska, Quebec, to parents Henri and Eugenie Blanchet.  He had 7 siblings - 4 brothers and 3 sisters.  He married Denise Marie Cormier on May 24th, 1958, in Arthabaska, Canada.  Noel and Denise moved to Florida in 1970 with their two sons Mario and Francois.

Noel is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Denise, his two sons Mario and Francois, daughter-in-laws Allison and Kathy, and grandson Jean-Luc Noel .

Noel was an active member of Knights of Columbus, a Bee Keeper for 64 years, and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.  He enjoyed his late-in-life hobby of making beautiful stained glass art pieces for family and friends.

Noel was a faith-filled, kind, loving, and thoughtful man and he will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Noel's family would love to have you join us Tuesday evening, August 13th, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, Florida for Visitation.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church.  Inurnment will immediately follow the Mass at the Reflections Mausoleum at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.  Light refreshments will be served afterwards inside Serenity Meadows.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Noel's name to Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council #6724 in Brandon, Florida or Florida Beekeepers Association Brandon Chapter.
