Jimenez, Nicolas, 86, of Valrico, passed away on May 11, 2016. Nick proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a gifted musician, composer, professor, and a die-hard Mets fan. He is preceded in death by his wife Irene Jimenez. Nick is survived by his loving family, daughter, April Jimenez; son, Nick Jimenez and his wife, Janice; siblings, Digna, Ernie, Sandra, Francine; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service at 5:30 pm Monday evening.
