Obituary

Natalie J. Transue, 78, of Tampa entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2016 surrounded by her large loving family. Natalie was born to George and Eleanor Young in Gloucester, Massachusetts on May 29, 1938. She served in the U.S. Army for four years where she met her late husband, Jimmie Transue. She was blessed with five beautiful children who were given the opportunity to travel all through Europe and the United States with her. She worked in various places such as Lykes Brothers Meat Packing Plant and the United States Postal Service. Natalie was also a Matron to the United States Marshal Service. She eventually settled down in Tampa Florida working as a Teaching Assistant and retired after 20 years of service.
Natalie loved her community and played a large part to keep it safe and family oriented. Natalie was very instrumental in the Support the Troops Organization by sending much needed supplies around the globe. She had a big generous heart and especially loved children. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do to help a child or anyone in need.
Natalie is survived by her beloved companion Henry Cole. Her daughter Cynthia (companion Gilbert), sons Mike "Jimmy" (wife, Jenny), Mark (wife, Diane), Matthew (wife, Kimberly), Chris (wife, Tammy). Grandchildren, Scott (wife, Jessyca), Eric, Boomer, Sarah, Joshua, Jeremy, Jessica, Alivia, Sophia, Jimmie, Savannah, Dustin C., Dustin S., Ryan, Faith, Kimberly and eleven great grandchildren.
Natalie is survived by her sister June (husband, Bob), her brother David (wife, Esther).
Natalie was a vibrant, adventurous and sometimes mischievous woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Our family will miss her immensely, but instead of leaving a hole in our lives we will choose to fill it with her larger than life memories.
We love you Mom, Nannie, Sister and dear friend.
