(BROOKER) The family of Nancy Susan (Holmes) Brooker regretfully announces her passing on April 5, 2024, in Seffner, Florida. Nancy was born in Malden, Massachusetts on March 26, 1952. The oldest of three daughters of Larry and Ellen Holmes, Nancy was raised in the city of Melrose graduating from Melrose High School in 1970 and then attending Salem State University.
While living in Massachusetts, she was an active volunteer with the YMCA, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and her daughter's school's parent's associations.
Nancy moved to Tampa in 1986 while working for Jay B. Rudolph Company and continued to work as an executive assistant at various other companies until retiring in 2019.
She married Kenny, her loving husband of 25 years in 1998, moving to Seffner where they made their home for the remainder of her life.
She was a member of the Kappa Delta Phi sorority's Kappa Kappa Chapter for 25 years where she served on both the local and national boards and loved travelling to its annual conventions around the country. She also took great pleasure volunteering with her sorority sisters at "Ryan's Case for Smiles."
Nancy enjoyed traveling the world with her beloved husband (especially on board a cruise ship) spending time with her large extended family, going out with her friends "the fab four" to the theater, shopping, and dining. Nancy was also a big (super big) fan of Seminoles football.

She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence B. Holmes.
Family will receive visitors on April 17 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview Fl. from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral service to follow with a private burial.
Memorials may be made in the form of flowers from Bloomingdale Florist, Brandon, Fl. or donations to Ryan's Case for Smiles.
