Samaha, Mitchell J., 84, of Brandon went home to be with the Lord January 10, 2012. Mitch was born January 14, 1927, in Whitecastle, LA., and spent his childhood living in Clarksdale, MS. He had been a resident of Brandon since 1976. Mitch is remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a friend to many, and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mae. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Cherry; son-in-law, John Cherry; beloved grandsons, Jackson and Jason Cherry; brother, George Samaha; and many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, FL., in the chapel, with a reception to follow.
