IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mitchell Wayne
Hendricks
February 27, 1995 – February 27, 2024
Mitchell Wayne Hendricks, born on February 27, 1995 at Tristar Centennial women's hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Mitchell transitioned to the next life in his home in Wimauma, Florida on February 27, 2024 at the age of 29. He was a beloved father, husband, provider and best friend. Loved by so many whether he knew it or not. Mitchell's colorful vocabulary and charismatic energy in his life is what made people drawn to him. Not being afraid to talk to everyone and anyone he met or who he could tolerate is what always amazed his wife Zaynah Trejo- Hendricks and how he could go on and on about his views of life, his passions and dreams he still have not yet conquered. Mitchell had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, which was obvious even in his early childhood, he had immutable interest in Stephen King books and any horror books alike, he was also a fan of science fiction and fantasy literature, it wasn't unusual to find him playing video games with his younger brother Maximo Roman Hendricks and his cousin Justin Lancaster well into his adult life. With stars wars also being his main character trait , he did fancy himself a bit of D&D and trying to teach his first born son Bruce Hendricks all of his passion that he loved as a child such as pokemon, TMNT, Yu-gi-oh!, Teen Titans the original and of course Batman/Marvel shows & movies live action & cartoon; while also trying to teach himself how to properly braid his daughter (Lucia Hendricks) hair. Professionally Mitchell was a trainer and cook at Smokey Bones in Brandon, Florida which he loved working at and learning new skills to advance his career and all the new friends he made along the way. While Mitchell spent his marriage as the serious logistical one and his wife as a dreamer with her head in the clouds, he never wanted his children to take anything serious, he always wanted them to live happily and be unapologetically themselves and to stay young as long as possible.
His love for his children is always so clear and strong and everyone knew how much he loved them, his children adored their father. If LOVE could of saved Mitchell then he would of lived forever, because he was love something fierce by his family and friends. He also had been honing his kitchen skills at home, always wanting to try new recipes and was his own harsh critic. Mitchell has left us with gratitude knowing that he existed. Mitchell is preceded in death by his NeNe Julie Hendricks, his beloved second born son Waylon G.B. Hendricks and Kenneth Whitaker. Mitchell leaves behind his wife Zaynah Trejo-Hendricks, two beautiful children Bruce and Lucia Hendricks, Penny Hendricks, step father Paul Keen, Jacob Whitaker, Sayuri Roman, Maximo Roman- Hendricks, Savannah Keen, Onyx Johns, Kenya Sadler, Kendra Whitaker, Kenneth Whitaker Jr., Justin Lancaster, Tanner Lancaster, Rosie Krapf, Sheila Fletcher, Jeff & Shannon Lancaster. " WE LOVE YOU".
