Mindy Lynn
Rumore
September 9, 1962 — August 1, 2021
Rumore, Mindy Lynn, 58, of Riverview, Fl, peacefully departed her physical body and enter the gates of heaven in her home surrounded by her family on August 1, 2021. Mindy is survived by her mother, Phyllis; her husband, Vince; her children Vincent and Angela; her siblings, Gena, Richard, Robin and Brenda; her daughter in law, Angie; her son in law, Sean and her beloved grandson, Jacob. She was a wife, mother, daughter, grandma, aunt, cousin and friend. Born and raised in Tampa she graduated from Tampa Bay Tech with a focus in Cosmetology. Mindy was a true ray of sunshine and spread love and positivity everywhere she went. She worked wit children for most of her life. Mindy had a home daycare for over 20 years and returned from that after her daughter, Angela, graduated from high school. She took a brief hiatus after that then proceeded to continue her work with children as a chef at Mary-Go-Round Daycare. One of her favorite things to do to spread happiness at the daycare was to bake cupcakes for all the teacher there every Friday. Mindy loved to be creative and was a part of scrap booking group consisting of friends and family, they lovingly called themselves "The Queens." She had a whimsical and silly heart and she loved to have fun. Mindy loved musicals such as Grease, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and many more; the signing and dancing brought her so much joy. She was a loving and devoted wife for over 40 years to her husband Vince, but they were more than husband and wife, they were best friends. She delighted in all the wonders of nature and loved to spend time in the garden Vince created for her. Some husbands give their wives a bouquet of flowers, but he gave her the whole garden. When it came to being a mother to her two children, Vincent and Angela, she was second to none. Mindy and Vince made sure that their children were always loved and supported and had a happy home filed with many beautiful memories and traditions. Her grandson Jacob held a very special place in her heart which he wholeheartedly reciprocated. She loved being a part of every milestone Jacob achieved. Family was one of the most important things to Mindy and she was happiest just spending quality time with her loved ones. She was a devout Christian and the love of God radiated from her always. She truly lived her life in accordance with the work of God. Mindy will be missed and remembered by all as a wonderful, loving and caring person who left a positive impact on every person she encountered.
"Remember me with smiles and laughter for that's the way I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all."
