Miller, Mildred Louise, 89, of Valrico, passed away on May 4, 2011. Mildred was proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII from 42 to 46, where she served in the Philadelphia Shipyards. She had a passion for sewing and quilting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard F. Miller; and sister, Dorothy Irons. Mildred is survived by her loving family, son, Chris Miller; brothers, George, James and Richard Friend; sister, Betty Farnsworth; and grandchildren, Jaime (Jeff), Daniel, Cayla and Tyler. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm. Mildred will be laid to rest at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North in Hollywood, FL.
