Michael E. Welham of Riverview, FL passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 9 ^th from a short battle with pancreatic cancer.  Mike was preceded in death by his father, Albert Edward Welham, his mother, Marjorie Chittick Welham, and younger brother David Welham.  Mike is survived by his wife, LuAnn Welham of Riverview, FL, son, Cole Welham of Riverview, FL, son, Michael D. Welham (Cheryl) of Kernersville, NC, daughter, Kelly Seversen (Jason) of South Dakota, and daughter, Lori Welham of Huntsville, AL.  He is also survived by his sister Penni Davis (Sean) of Corydon, IN, five grandchildren (Melissa, David, Remy, Tyler, and Maya) three great-grandchildren (Hunter, Skyler, and Lincoln) a niece, Kaila White (Tyler) a nephew, Nate Davis, and two fur babies (Max and Seamus).  Mike served 27 years in the Air Force and after retiring as a major continued to work for various contractors on NASA projects.  He was also a math instructor at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN and Hillsborough Community College in Ruskin, FL.  Mike loved woodcarving, running, traveling, playing video games, reading, and hanging out with his family and friends.  He was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist in Gallatin, TN.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
