Michael Raymond Smith, 80, of Sun City Center, passed away on April 13, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul Smith and Lorraine Vailencourt Smith.

Michael loved life and loved his garden. He enjoyed tending to his plants and flowers and watching them bloom.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Gloria Mae Smith, children,  Angela, David, and Mark, siblings, Linda, Shirley, Mary, Tom, and Susie, grandchildren, Esmerelda, Dalia, and Ismael, nieces and nephews, Christie, Holly, Paul, Carrie, Tom, Ann, Bonnie, Vicki, Joe, John, Lisa, John Jr., Jeff, Jennifer, Zachary, Molly, and Zoe. Michael is preceded in death by his siblings, Judy, Jerry, Jimmy.

Services for Michael will take place on May 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Ruskin (820 College Ave W, Ruskin, FL 33570). Relatives and Friends may arrive at 6:00 P.M. The Celebration will commence at 6:30 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
