Moffitt, Michael P, 58, of Riverview, passed away on March 8, 2021. Michael was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed everything about planes including flying, skydiving, and building model planes. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and baking. He proudly served in the US Navy and US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 148 in Riverview. He is preceded in death by his father. Harold Moffitt. Michael is survived by his loving family, wife of 34 years, Lonnette Moffitt; children, Casey (Ashley) Moffitt, Douglas Moffitt, and Elizabeth Moffitt; mother, Juanita Genta; siblings, Lawrence Moffitt, Jerry Thomas, Kathleen Baum, Russell Moffitt, and Patty Moffitt; and granddaughter, Victoria Moffitt. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 20, 2021, starting at 4:00 pm at Wyatt Christie's house.
