Michael John "Mack" McGreevy, age 67, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Riverview, Florida. Born on
March 25, 1958, in Machias, Maine, Michael lived a life defined by honor, service, and deep devotion to his family. Michael proudly served his country for 30 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

Throughout his distinguished military career, he worked in Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), traveling extensively around the world. His superb performance and unwavering professionalism earned him numerous awards and decorations to include: the Global War on Terrorism Medal, the National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, two Air Force Achievement Medals, two Air Force Commendation Medals, and Six Meritorious Service Medals. Following his military retirement, Michael continued his dedication to excellence while working at Tinker Air Force Base, where he led the Metrology and Calibration Flight till his retirement.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Irene McGreevy and John T. McGreevy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie McGreevy, with whom he shared a life filled with love, partnership, and laughter. He was a devoted father to Kristy Viviano (Tom) and Justin McGreevy (Heather), and a proud grandfather to Madolynn McGreevy, Liam Viviano, and Brittany Viviano, and a cherished great-grandfather to Azliani Viviano, each of whom brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his younger sisters, Kelli Poehlman (Rick)and Kim Roney (James).After his time at Tinker Air Force Base, Michael, an avid Florida Gators fan, officially retired to one of his favorite places, Florida, where he embraced a well-earned season of rest and happiness. He spent his carefree years enjoying the Florida sunshine and surf, as he did in his youth but this time  with his loving wife, Rose, finding peace in the simple pleasures of life.

A service celebrating Michael's life will be held on December 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, located at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33578. Michael will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for his service, and with enduring love by all who knew him.
