Michael Roy Leathers II, a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at the age of 49 after a brief illness. Born on July 25, 1977 to Michael Roy Leathers and Margaret Fowler Leathers in Tampa FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Roy Leathers, his sister, Pamela Leathers, stepfather Roger Wolford and grandparents, David Olen and Dorothy May Fowler.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Fowler Leathers, daughters, Sara Leathers and Ashley Leathers, his son, Michael Leathers, aunt and uncle Shirley and James Bell, uncle, Delford Fowler, aunt, Connie Fowler, cousins, David Fowler and Grace Fowler, nieces, Stacy and Danielle, nephews, Ozzy and Cody, and beloved grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Mason, and Aurora.

Michael was a kind man, with a ready smile. He was a manager at Pizza Hut for 6 years where he found his love for cooking. He also loved working on cars and playing with his grandchildren.

Michael will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he shared with those he loved. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a private residence on Saturday, September 26th from 3-6 pm.
