Rodriguez, Mercedes, 79, of Cutler Bay, passed away on May 13, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Velazquez. Mercedes is survived by her loving family, daughter, Elizabeth; sons, John, Peter, Paul, and Robert; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL 33578. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:30 am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 6819 Krycul Ave, Riverview, FL 33578.
