Nixon, Matthew Jonathan, 30, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012. Born in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Mr. Nixon had been a local resident since 1993 after moving here from Strongsville, Ohio. Presbyterian by faith, he was an avid sports fan and loved music. Survivors include his parents, Daniel K. and Carolyn R. Nixon; brothers, David; Danny; nephews, Jacob; Corey; David and his beloved Labrador and best friend, "Rocky". The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33578 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in Ohio.
