Gallagher, Matthew Cory, 19, of Valrico went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2011. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, he had been a local resident since 1993. A member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, he was an eloquent writer, played baseball and golf, loved cars and time with his family, and enjoyed movies and his friends. His parents, James and Kelly Gallagher; big brother, Timothy Gallagher; paternal grandmother, Dolores Gallagher; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, survive Matthew. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Leo Gallagher and maternal grandparents Donald and Marlene Croonquist. The family will receive friends at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, in Valrico with Fr. Bill Swengros officiating. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rockledge, Florida on December 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
