WILSON, Mary Ann, 90 of Brandon passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Mary was a loving wife, cherished mother and adored grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and married the love of her life, a young US Army Captain named Jim Wilson, in Panama. Their adventure as a military couple provided the opportunity to live in Panama, Texas, North Carolina, Kansas, Alaska, Georgia, Japan, California, Washington, D.C., Iraq, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Florida. Mary was a founding member of St. Stephen Catholic Church where she served as a sacristan, 50+ club member, and a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She is predeceased by her husband, Col. James M. Wilson USA (ret.). She is survived by her three daughters, Ann-Marie Jurkus, Ruston, LA., Margaret Rose Glenn, Jacksonville, FL., and Patricia Wilson Wrona, Brandon, FL.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, February, 6, 2009 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Valrico, FL. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society and/or St. Stephen Catholic Church/School.
