Mary Katherine Warren, "Mary Kate", "Kate", 76, of Riverview, FL passed away on August 25, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital South. She was surrounded by her family.

Mary was born in Staunton, VA and raised in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Mergenthaler Technical High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Curry and Rita Hershfeld; her siblings Rita Boehmer, and Carol McVicker; great granddaughter, Layla Marie Schelts. Mary is survived by her husband, Gary T. Warren; her children Gary Warren, Kris Mulhollen, and Aaron Warren; her siblings Christina Shepard, James Curry, Jr., Margie Rippin, and Kathy Frome. She was also blessed by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mary was loving, inspirational, strong, brave, and determined. She loved her family more than anything. Her love for them was made evident by her opening her home to her family to live with her and Gary. Many holidays and summer barbeques were celebrated at Mary and Gary's home. Mary loved being an active part of her church.

She was a member of Fishhawk Fellowship Church. She enjoyed participating in Bible Study and served as a mentor mom for young mothers at MOPS. Mary remained active by participating in personal training with Carolyn Ventola, her "bonus daughter". She persisted in personal training to the end of her life. When she was younger, she loved to dance and won many dance competitions with her sister Carol McVicker. Mary was employed as a cosmetologist for thirty years and then she transitioned to being an inside sales representative. Mary will be remembered as someone who loved her family and loved God with all her heart, soul and mind. She is at peace with Him.
