Our beloved mother, Mary Ann Stanton, 71, of Riverview, where she resided with her son, Michael, for the passed 8 years, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital after strongly fighting her battle with breast cancer.

She was a loving, caring and generous mother who was born in Philadelphia, PA. She moved to New Jersey with her husband, Paul T. Stanton where they shared most of their simple life enjoying the Jersey shore. Eventually she left New Jersey to move to Florida where she enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, going to the casino as well as to Disney World with her grandchildren and their family. She wanted nothing more than to see them happy which made her happy.

Mary Ann is survived by her 3 children; Michael Stanton, Riverview, FL; Marianne (Stanton) Galvan, Cape May, New Jersey; Thomas Stanton, Morrisville, PA; her grandchildren, Paul Stanton and Jean Galvan,both of Cape May, NJ and her one and only beloved pooch, Jackson!

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Rd., Valrico, FL at 11:00 AM where all are welcomed to come and join us in a Mass Celebration and pay your respects to the family.
