Joiner, Mary L., 92, of Riverview, passed away on March 3, 2014.

Mary was a native Floridian born in Homestead, who grew up in the Methodist Children's Home in Enterprise, FL. At the Children's Home is where she met her husband of 69 years, Hugh Joiner. Mary owned a beauty shop in Tampa and was a teacher at National Beauty School for 10 years. Previously she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir at Palm River Baptist Church. South Bay Church had been her church home since 2002.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Joiner; and daughter, Betty King. Mary is survived by her loving family, children, Delores Lacy, Robert Lee (Jean) Joiner, Herb (Martha) Joiner, Jim (Susan) Joiner and Jean (Bill) Hollash; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

There will be a funeral service for Mary on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at South Bay Church, 13498 US 301 Riverview, 33578, with a visitation one hour prior.
