Elza, Mary S., 80 of Valrico, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012. Born in St. Charles, Virginia, Mrs. Elza had been a local resident since 1999 after moving here from Pasadena, Maryland. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and also held memberships with the Brandon Lion's Club, She volunteered at Echo and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Delmar Harold in 2011, Survivors include, daughters; Mary "Nan" Nawrocki, Bonita "Boni" Elza Bacaicua,; sisters, Ruth Fling; Gladys (EH) Collins; Edna Jean Brendle; three grandchildren, Christina (John) Bonaccorse; Victoria Ann George, Darren (Whitney) George; and three great-grandchildren, Haylie Michelle George; Colten Xavier George; and Presten Russell George. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Serenity Meadow Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at St. Andrews Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Serenity Meadow Memorial Park.
