DeHart, Mary Elizabeth, 91, of Brandon, passed away on April 21, 2018. A dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mary also dedicated her life to serving God as a Prayer Warrior, Bible teacher, Ladies Auxiliary Treasurer, church pianist and choir director. She was a gifted musician and writer, writing over 80 songs and 2 books.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Oscar E DeHart; grandson, Kenneth Cain; and great-granddaughter, Michaela Millard. Mary is survived by her loving family, son and daughter-in-law, John E. and Debra DeHart; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Melvin Stephens, Pamela and Danny Cain, and Rhonda Gillespie; grandchildren, Charles and Mark Stephens, Nilah McCarthy, Christopher and Patrick Cain, John David DeHart, and Stephanie Millard; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog, 'Cookie'. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at HighPoint Church of Brandon, 2207 Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Valrico, FL 33596, with a visitation one hour prior.
