Mary Virginia (Davis) Brooks, 79, of Riverview, Florida passed away peacefully at home on April 15th 2022.  She was born November 3rd, 1942 in Lexington, Mississippi.

Mary was preceded in death by her Mother Maggie Mae Davis, Father Willie D. Davis, Brothers Willie Davis, Frank James Davis, and James Earl Davis.

She leaves behind one Son Earl Montgomery of Denver, Colorado.  Three granddaughters Nicole Montgomery of Tampa, Florida, Tasha Montgomery of Denver, Colorado, and Mary Shaomi Montgomery of Denver, Colorado.  She also leaves behind her Sister Alberta (Davis) Hoskins of Waterloo, Iowa, and Brother Otis Lee Davis (Ruth) of Aurora, Colorado.  She also leaves behind 6 Great Grandchildren Andrea & Andre Clark, TJ Watkins, JJ Cobbs, Skyla & Michael Montgomery.

She was born in Mississippi and grew up in Waterloo, Iowa.  She finally planted her roots in Denver, Colorado.  She made her final move to Riverview, Florida to be close to her Granddaughter Nicole in the last years of her life.  Mary retired from Children's Hospital where she worked as an administrative assistant.  Mary's hobbies included sewing and reading.  She was a member of the True Light Baptist Church where she volunteered and supported where she could.  Mary was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
