Perdue, Marvin M., 83, passed away on March 2, 2011. Marvin moved to Riverview from Stanford, CT eight years ago. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from Yellow Cab after driving for 20 years. Marvin enjoyed working with his hands: being creative in the garden, building and improving household items, and playing music on the guitar and piano.Marvin is survived by his loving family, wife, Carmen Perdue; son, Ronald Perdue and his wife Margo of The Bronx, NY; daughters, Linda Patterson and her husband Robert of Vista, CA and Deborah Dukes and her husband Alvin of Valrico, FL; aunt, Gladys Bennett of Bridgeport, CT; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior. Marvin will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.
