Rickerson, Martha Elaine, 71, of Riverview, Fla., passed away April 23, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Elaine was a strong and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was devoted to her family, loving them deeply. Elaine's warm smile could radiate through the room. Her beautiful impact on each of their lives will never be forgotten.

Her loving family survives her; husband of 52 years, John; daughter, April Reid (Matt); son, John Rickerson III (Malisha); 5 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Elaine is preceded in death by her father, Clifford O. Carswell, mother, Mary M. Cobb, and brothers, Thomas, Earl, and Hubert Carswell. Living siblings include brothers Don, Terry, and Randy Carswell, and a sister, Teresa Miller.
