Marta Maddux's Obituary
Marta Flores Maddux, 61, of Riverview, went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, February 17, 2009.
She was born in Santiago, Chile, on April 3, 1947. Marta attended the University of Chile and received a degree in teaching English as a second language. She was married to Norman F. Maddux on October 8, 1980.
She was a loving and dedicated daughter, wife, and mother. Her love for Christ always touched those around her.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Maddux; her mother, Eufemia Cerda; and her son and his wife, N. Forest and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to the Paul Geer Memorial Endowment fund at Providence Christian School, 5416 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL 33578
The viewing will be on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church. The service will be held at 3 p.m., and the burial will be following the service at the Providence Baptist Church cemetery.
