Mark "Push"
Puskarich
November 10, 1951 — May 5, 2020
Mark Puskarich (Push), 68, died May 5 th in Riverview, FL after a short struggle with cancer.
To Mark, there was no greater sport on Earth than golf. He played it, taught it (coached voluntarily), watched it, and dreamt about it. One of his greatest joys was sharing his love of the game with others and helping them to appreciate the sport as much as he did.
Born the eldest of four in Washington, PA, Mark began playing golf when he was 12 years old. His training and dedication to the sport earned him a spot on the 1975 All America Team, ranked 2 nd in the nation, as a student at California State University. In 1984, as a professional at Nemacolin Country Club, he played in the 1984 U.S. Open Golf Championship at Winged Foot Golf Club in Westchester County, NY.
For more than 25 years, Mark was an automobile auctioneer and bought a printing business in Lakeland, FL in 1985.
Mark is survived by his mother, Catherine, "Kay," Puskarich, siblings Gary Puskarich (Debbie), Joanie Eimer, John Puskarich, children Marianne Somerville (Bryan), Mark Puskarich (John), granddaughter Catherine Somerville, and seven nieces and nephews.
