Mark Albert Gomes Sr, 57, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019.  Born on July 7, 1962 in Ft Bragg, NC to the proud military parents, Frank R. Gomes Sr & Mary June Gomes, who preceded him in death.

He grew up in the Tampa Bay area, graduating for HB Plant High School in 1980, then completed has associate degree in Computer Science at Tampa Technical Institute. He married in 1984 to Kim Thomas.  They celebrated their 35 ^th wedding anniversary in November.  Mark was the President and working owner of Advanced RF Communications and former Project manager at On Command Corp.

He was also and avid fisherman, football fan and classic rock music lover.  He spent many years fishing with his parents, brothers, wife, kids and friends.  The Miami Dolphins was his favorite team, being the first football team in Florida.  He was a little league football coach when his son played.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim and their three children: Mark Jr., Sarah and Amanda; his brother, Frank Gomes Jr and his wife Renee; Patrick A Gomes Sr and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends.  He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Guy Paul Gomes.

Mark will be missed by family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview, FL. with a Celebration of Life dinner to follow at Sunset Grill at Little Harbor in Ruskin, FL
