Clancy, Mark Collin, 52, passed away on July 24, 2008 after a brief
illness. Mark moved from Cape Coral to Brandon, where he was an
executive with Vital Trust. He proudly served his country in the
U.S. Marine Corp from 1976-1982. He graduated from USF with honors in
the class of
2007 and had been accepted into the Barry University School of Law. He
participated in the Guardian Ad Lietem program for Hillsborough County.
Mark loved sports, especially football and was a "Big Buc's Fan",
but his true passion was his family. He is predeceased by his
parents, Harold and Ernestine Clancy and two brothers, Stephen and
Peter Clancy. Mark is survived by his loving family, wife of 22
years, Bernadette; daughters, Katelyn and Elizabeth Clancy;
brothers, Garet (Corinne) Clancy of West Palm Beach, Paul (Elena)
Clancy of New York and Michael (Nancy) Clancy of New Jersey; and
sisters, Katherine (Alan) Knott of Tampa and Ann (Doug) Young of
Port St. Lucie, FL. There will be a gathering of family and friends
on Monday, July 28 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The celebration of Mark's life
will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral
home, followed by an entombment at the Reflection Mausoleum. The
family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made
to the American Cancer Society, 1462 Oakfield Dr, Brandon, FL 33514.
