Avore, Marjorie Mayes "Doris" slipped quietly into heaven while holding the hand of her best friend and husband of 52 years, Bob, on March 29, 2014. She was the fourth and last living child of her parents, Charlie and Eunice Mayes. She is survived by her husband Bob and two daughters, Melissa and Patty, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the picture of beauty and grace. She was skilled in many things but her greatest gift was hospitality. She was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Faith Riders Bible Fellowship and Faith Cruisers Car Club. She lived on the same quiet road in Valrico for over fifty years. Services for Doris will be at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, in their chapel, on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 am with a visitation one hour prior.
