Marie Rolla Similien, 68, of Gibsonton, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Max Ruiz & Idalia Jeudy.  Marie enjoyed decorating and gardening but her legacy is that she will be remembered as a Godly woman with a strong, unwavering faith. She was very involved in church from women's ministry, youth ministry etc.  She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Marc Similien Sr; her children, Betty Similien, Murielle Similien, Marc Similien Jr  (wife Tania) and  Rachel Similien; sisters, Ritza St Simon and Gilberte Pierre-Louis; brother, Marc-Antoine Ruiz and four grandchildren, Paul-David, Marc III, Kevin and Nyla. There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home and the Funeral service will be conducted at 11am Friday, February 2 At Comor Baptist Church with Pastor Edouard officiating. The Casket will be open until 15mins prior to service.  Burial will follow at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
