Marie G. Rosner, 74, of Riverview, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Born in Spencer, Massachusetts, Mrs. Rosner had been an area resident since 1979 after moving here from Burlington, MA. She was Catholic. Mrs. Rosner was a retired school teacher, having taught for 20 years at Maddux Private School at both the Apollo Beach and Valrico, FL campuses. She enjoyed creating crafts and attending craft shows, fishing, gardening and raising butterflies. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Austin; two daughters, Susan Rosner and Lee Anne (Gene) Hinson; brothers, Frederick (Elaine) Meloche and Daniel Meloche; sisters, Jean Sheary, Elizabeth (Cecil) Flory; and three grandchildren, Colton Hinson, Weston Hinson and Rachel Garcia. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
