It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mariano (Mario) Roppolo on March 4th, 2025, at the age of 83. Mario was born on January 31, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, to Emma and Joseph Roppolo.  The family moved to Queens, NY where he spent his adolescent years.

Mario raised his family in Queens and Staten Island, New York. Later in life Mario moved to Brandon, FL and often visited Staten Island in the summer months.
Mario worked as the Print Shop Manager for Morgan Guarantee (JP Morgan Chase) in New York City. He met his bride to be Marion Gabriel, at work in the city.

The two had four children; Suzanne Jordan, Kathlyne O'Hara, Patricia LaMazza and Mario Roppolo, and thirteen grandchildren; Rebecca Melo, Patrick Tompkins, Kiernan Tompkins, Michael O'Hara, Mari O'Hara, Zach LaMazza, Lenny LaMazza, Luke LaMazza, Christopher Roppolo, Brittany Roppolo, Jonathon Dixon, Jayden Roppolo and Julianna Roppolo.

Mario is survived by siblings Andrew Roppolo and Marie Roppolo.

Mario enjoyed fishing, cars, and spending time with his family.  He loved making friends everywhere he went and will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Funeral Home, Riverview FL on Friday, March 14th from 12:00PM – 2:00 PM.
