Margaret Blanche Whatley, 84 years of age, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 23, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on June 19, 1940, in Lakeland Florida, at the time of her passing, she was residing in Brookfield, Georgia.

Margaret was the first daughter of the late William (Berry) and Mildred Roberts. She was a Florida native and lived in Hillsborough County until 2016. She was the oldest of five children, sister MaryEllen Taylor (Deceased), brother William (Bill) Roberts of Odum, Georgia, sister Beverly Hall (deceased).

Margaret was educated at East Bay High School in Gibsonton, Florida.

Margaret was married to the late Ezra Whatley in 1956, and six children were born from this union.

Helene Whatley (Deceased), Joseph Whatley (Vanessa), James Whatley (Alesia), Guilford Whatley (Rannin), Alice Hutchinson (David), Mary Smith (Brian). 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Multiply nieces and nephews.

Margaret spent her life working to support her family. She was a caregiver to her mother until her passing and went on to care for several others before retiring. Margaret loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. She will be missed dearly.

A graveside service will be on June 10th, 2025, at Hackney Cemetery in Riverview Florida.
