Kelly, Margaret Elizabeth Dix (Peggy), 63, of Brandon, Fl, passed away Saturday, January 26 th in Tampa, Fl.

Peggy was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Grew up in L.A and Ft. Lauderdale. Peggy graduated from Cardinal Gibbins High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fl in 1974 and then attended the Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fl graduating in 1978. Peggy was a special education teacher for 42 years working at the Manhattan Center FDLRS Hillsborough in Tampa, Fl and at Lopez ESE in Seffner, Fl.  Peggy was loved by her students and always took a special interest in them beyond the requirements of a special educator. She was truly loved by coworkers and every person she connected with. Peggy loved her family and friends and was always willing to put the needs of others before her own; she was incredibly selfless and caring. Peggy made everyone's day better with a smile or joke, always sharing the laughs. She was outgoing and always loved to meet new people. Peggy loved her dogs Apollo, Chole, and Midnight. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly. Peggy's attitude was contagious and was loved by each individual who had the blessing to meet her. Her smile will forever be remembered.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Devereaux Campbell and her step father, William Franklin Campbell.  She is survived by her son Christopher Washington of Brandon, Fl; sisters Catherine Sullivan of Melbourne, Fl, Tammy Feliciano of Brandon, FL; brothers Kevin Dix of Charleston, WV, Brian Devereaux of Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica, Stephen Dix of Delray Beach, Fl, Jerry Campbell of Ft Myers, Fl, and Mike Campbell of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl; uncle Father Martin Devereaux of Pompano Beach, Fl; nieces Shaela Devereaux of Jacksonville, FL, Lacy Falcon of Charleston, WV; nephews Mason Devereaux of Playa Hermosa, CR, Bob Sullivan of Orlando, FL, Mike Sullivan of Portland, OR, Chris and Tom Feliciano of Brandon, FL; and Granddaughters Elizabeth and Kayden.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2 nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, Fl. A celebration of life will be held at Peggy's house after the funeral until 4pm.
