Lystin, Marcelle, 67, of Tampa, died Wednesday October 2, 2013. She was born to the late Olvins Lystin and Tacilia Nelson, February 20, 1946 in Pestel, Haiti. She married the late Jean Baptist Nobert Alexis in 1963 and they lived together in Bel Air, Haiti before migrated to the U.S in 1981. Marcelle was an excellent homemaker who loved to travel, and enjoyed going to the casino. Marcelle Lystin is survived by six children: Noberta Renee Alexis, Marcelle Alexis, Francois D. Alexis, Exilia Alexis-Ryan, Emmanul P. Alexis, Nirva C. Alexis, and Raynald D. Alexis ; thirteen grandchildren, Merlie R. Alexis, Monika Thelisme, Roobens N. Thelisme, Witchy Desormo, Amanda Ryan, Sandra Alexis, Marley S. Cleophat, Whidney Desormo, Bradley Cleophat, Darley Desormo, Emmanuel Alexis Jr., Trexley L. Cleophat, Raina Alexis; two great-grandchildren, Terralisia and Terrence; three brothers, Fritz, Francois and Demostene; three sisters , Madelene, St. Villia, Serette; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. A wake will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2013 at Providence Park, 5417 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home at 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, FL 33578 followed by the burial. The family is requesting that everyone comes to Providence Park for refreshment after the burial.
