Manuel "Lolo" Nieves, 70, of Brandon, FL., passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Advent Health in Tampa, FL.  Born on August 15, 1949 in New York City, NY to the proud parents of Manuel & Victoria (Rodriguez) Nieves, Lolo was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He volunteered for service during the Vietnam War and served from June 23, 1970 until July 21, 1971. He was discharged from active duty at the rank of Airman First Class. After serving his country, Manuel returned home and obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting, becoming the first person in the family to graduate from college.

Family came first for Manuel and he shared whatever he owned with his them. He liked betting on the horses, watching action movies and reading his Bible.

We loved him very much.
