Sargent, Mamie, 98, of Tampa passed away on February 19, 2015. She was born on December 24, 1916 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Bart and Mary (Fuller) Chambers. Mamie loved to make quilts, and attend church. Mamie has been a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Riverview for 50 years. Mamie is survived by her children Jerry, Patricia Ann Hynes, and Glenda Gale McKinney, grandchildren Raslind (Bill) Green, Donald Hynes, Stacy (David) Rubright, Rhonda (Harvey) Kerns, Kathy (David) Cocoran, Jason Sargent, Jeffery (Sylvia) Sargent, Heidi Ronan, Chris Sargent, Sandra Montgomery (Tony Stevens), Tony (Rose) Montgomery, Curtis Montgomery, and Abbie McKinney, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, brothers Louie Chambers, and Herman Chambers, sisters Evelyn Snyder, and Gladys Martin, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. Mamie was also preceded in death by several family members. A Viewing will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Providence Baptist Church, Riverview, Fl. from 10am-12pm. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place in Providence Cemetery.
