Lancaster, Lynn A. "Burt", 74, of Lithia, passed away on October 21, 2013. Burt proudly served in the US Army, he was a Vietnam Veteran, who had earned a Purple Heart and retired after 26 years as a Lt. Col. After his retirement from the Army, he worked as a Broker with Century 21 Fred McKay Realty for 11 years. In his free time he loved to golf, fish, and spend time with his family and friends. Burt is survived by his loving family, wife of 24 years, Paula; children, Gwendolyn (Stephen) Conner, Roger (JoLena) Lancaster, Theresa (Timothy) Huffman, Hugh Lancaster, Michelle Jensen and Blair Jefferson; siblings, Patricia Grulke, Paul Lancaster, Ellen King and Lloyd Lancaster; grandchildren, Stewart (Kristen), Jordan, Rebecca, Hannah, Justin, Alysse, Sarah, Ryan, Shelby, Ella, Colton and Mason; and one great grandchild, Bennett. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 2pm at the River Hills Country Club. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to The Benjamin Mendick Hope Lodge on the Moffitt campus operated by the American Cancer Society.
